Bacalar's 7 Colored Lagoon
Some views deserve more than a photo. On Bacalar’s lagoon, pale turquoise shifts into deeper blue as you make your way by pontoon. The usual route features the Pirate Canal, lagoon cenotes, and Bird Island. Enjoy the breeze, watch the scenery change, and take a refreshing swim at one or two locations when weather and time allow. Your captain chooses the day’s stops around the conditions and time available.
This private outing pairs the lagoon ride with seasonal fruit, snacks, and a taco lunch with a drink. Bottled water is included, along with the listed trip drinks. Our team confirms your lagoon route and time on the water for your departure, with the whole outing usually taking about 4–5 hours including round-trip transportation. Tell us your ship and all-aboard time so we can plan the day together.

The usual route takes in the Pirate Canal, lagoon cenotes, and Bird Island. Your captain selects the stops, including one or two swimming locations when weather and time allow.

Enjoy your taco lunch, then return on the schedule agreed for your ship.

Your meeting point
Meet your host outside Costa Maya port’s main security gate. Look for the sign with your reservation name. Your host directs you to your vehicle and takes the remaining balance before departure.
All agreed local pickup times use America/Cancun. Ship time can differ.

Book with peace of mind
Once we approve availability and price, reserve with $5 USD per paying guest. It comes off your total, with the balance paid in Costa Maya. Children with a paid fare count; free infants do not.
Your deposit is fully refunded if your ship skips Costa Maya or cannot dock. Cancel at least 24 hours before your confirmed start for a full deposit refund. Other qualifying exceptions are explained in our cancellation policy.
